I was written by ( short film)

" I was written by" is a short experimental film written, directed and illustrated by me. The story revolves around a young writer named Sho, who suffers from a literary paralysis and is unable to write his own book. Throughout the film, he comes across several uncanny worlds made up of the writing styles of his favourite writers, and he is finally able to gather inspiration from them at the end. This project is very close to my heart, as everything- from research to sound design, editing, illustration etc has been perosnally crafted by me. Thw film strikes a good balance between 2D animation and still frames.

At a distance, the sea is blue ( music video)

This is another music video that is written, directed and illustrated by me. The genre of the music video is very experimental and avant garde, and it shows the story of a young boy who is a victim of unrequited love. Throughout the video, he goes around in search for a rare kind of shell called abalone but he cant reach it.

Mayi ( brand)

Mayi is a clothing and merchandise brand found by antony chenn and co founded by me. As the Co-founder and creative director of Mayi, I have personally deisgned everything from Mayi's brand identity, the product designs, the social media marketing art and so on. Currently mayi's products are under manufacturing stage.

Stylo ( brand posters)

Some brand marketing posters I designed for Stylo, one of the most recognised and remarkable footwear barnds in Pakistan. The designs show their shades of summer collection articles shown through illustrations of models.

Rochat Ai Collaboration

Back in march 2024, Rochat Ai, which is a very popular character ai app, reached out to me to collaborate with them for their app. I designed a few characters based on famous food brands, which were then featured by Rochat on their app. It was a very exciting experience, seeing my characters being brought to life by ai, and being able to talk to them and interact with them.

Magazine Art

Throughout the past few years I have participated in several zines arranged and produced by fans all over the world. Two of my favourites are mentioned below. One is an illustration i did for the MHA Idol Zine, and the second one is my illustration of From Dusk Till Dawn

Being Wang Yibo ( music video )

Being Wang Yibo is a little music video I illustrated back in 2020. The music video is about the life and struggles of a Chinese dancer, singer and actor named " Wang Yibo". In the video, I highlighted the major parts of yibo's life, and all the hardships he had to go through in order to achieve what he has today. Even though this is one of my older works, its still something that is very close to my heart.

Enamel Pins

Below are some images of the enamel pins I have designed and produced. Some of these are produced through collaborations with various small business owners. Other than enamel pins, I have also worked on several different keychains, art prints, and charm designs in the past few years.

Commision Artworks

Since the last 4 years, I have been doing a lot of freelance commission work. As of now, I have worked with over 100 international clients, working on character designs, character sheets etc. Character design is one of my most favourite parts of illustration.

Gaomon Tablet Collaboration

Gaomon is Chinese tech company that is known for its creative pen display tablets, LED light pads and accessories. I had the honour of working with them in a collaboration, where they sent me one of their pen tablets ( PD 1161) and also collaborated with me to draw a character for their marketing post. It was a very fun and exciting experience.

Charity Work

I have worked with several small businesses over the years to work on merchandise products whose profits are all given to charity. One of these is the sticker sheets I designed with my friend peonypinsco, and all of the profit went to the PCRF.
